  The ONLY reason I occasionally go there is because it's convenient....but beware...everything there is double to triple the price. I've had extreme problems with food that has expired....not just a couple days try a few months. I puked in my mouth when I realized that the pizza pockets i ate were three months old. I told them about that but I went there today and saw 5 more boxes ALL expired. They were selling old cheese for 2 dollars less. I have had bags of mouldy bread and buns from there. The owner tells me that some of their customers prefer to by old food for less money. I don't know anyone nor have I known anyone who would ever eat mouldy cheese. I have never bought meat from there...God only knows how old some of it is...I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the expiration stickers. Spare yourself from this place as I will never go there again...even if I was starving I would sooner walk to spruce grove then ever spend a nickel in there again.

  I had a horrible experience at Evansburg Super A Foods on Family Day Monday, Feb. 15, 2016. After volunteering at the Family Day Event, I stopped in to pick up a few groceries. When I went up to the till, the cashier, which was the owner, asked if I would prefer a box or bags. I told him whatever worked for him would be fine. He chose a box, a very awkward sized box. He was rather unfriendly, which I thought was odd, because I shop locally, and have shopped at Super A numerous times before. As he was ringing in my purchases, I noticed he did not apply a discount to the old Christmas stock. I asked him about this. He grudgingly went back and appeared to apply one discount, but not both. I paid for the approximately $90 worth of groceries, and was about to leave. He walked over to me as I was leaving and I thought he was going to help me with the cumbersome box. But, no, he accused me of shoplifting! I was shocked! I said you are kidding right? He said if I look in your bag and pockets I won't find anything? I said of course not. I emptied my pockets in front of him and pulled open my bag so he could see inside. He said he had been watching me on the camera the whole time while I was in the store. He stated that something looked 'funny' on the camera. He insisted I had taken $4 worth of Easter eggs. His accusation was totally unfounded and he dealt with it terribly. He embarrassed me in front of other patrons and made it clear he did not believe me. (But, he did 'allow' me to leave with my paid for groceries.) I told him I will never spend another dollar at this store! Plus, I noticed later, that he did not provide a receipt, so I cannot even check if I was charged the correct amount.
